Hello and thank you for your question! If the basket can be used on a traditional bike, it should be able to be used on a ZiZZO. If you'd like to send us a link to the basket, we can attempt to confirm if it would work on a ZiZZO Bike. Ideally, though, you may want to reach out to the maker/seller of the basket for confirmation.
We do want to point out that the basket may interfere with how the bike would fold; you should consider a basket with a quick disconnect feature (that does not require tools).

Tony, do you know if either one of these would work. I am concerned about folding capabilities with the basket mechanism attached to my handle bars.

Looking at the baskets, the COFIT looks like it may NOT work with your bike. The mounting bracket (arms) may be too close together to fit within the handlebar/stem mount.
The RAYMACE basket looks more likely to work.
