My bike seems to lose its tire pressure in a few days (3 or 4). Is there anything I can let into the tires to stop that happening?
Thanks

I have 4 bikes and their tires all lose air. Its the nature of the beast!
I got a good floor pump that is easy to take on and off the valves. It has a built-in guage to tell pressure.
I just make it a habit to pump up my tires before every ride. You can check for problems and get a feel for things not being right on your bike. Your ride will be more consistant too.
I figure the one area that doesnt get much of a workout when riding is my arms. Pumping up the tires gives me a little bit!
Hello Adrian Thank you for your post and we apologize for any difficulties. Unfortunately, flats are a COMMON part of cycling. That being said, all bike tires will loose air over time. Typically, tires loose a noticeable amount of air after about 1 week.
If your tires are loosing (a noticeable amount of) air over a 24-72 hour period, then there is probably a hole somewhere in the inner tube. At your earliest convenience, pull the tire off the rim and inflate the inner tube. It's ok to over inflate the tube a little bit. Run your hands over the tube to feel where the air is escaping. Once you are able to find the hole in the tube, find the corresponding location on the tire or rim. (Use the valve stem as a reference point when trying to locate the corresponding location on the rim/tire). Depending on the cause/location of the hole, we can find the best solution. Let us know ;-) Tony
