Hi, I'm currently riding a lot on soft gravel so I was recommended to change up the stock tires for knobbier ones, but I'm really not sure which tires would be best for my needs and how much larger can I make them so there are no issues with brakes. Any recommendations? Thank you, Nick

Hi Nick! Thank you for your question. You ask a great question, but without more information, it's difficult to answer. The "best" resource for an answer would be from your local bike shop (LBS). These folks live, work and ride in the same places you do and would be more familiar with what the cycling needs would be in your area. With regards to "how wide", generally, you should not go wider than 2.125". Brake clearance should not be an issue, since the rim's width would not be changing and you can always "open" the brakes with the quick disconnect when changing a flat. The concern with "how wide" come from how the tire seats on the rim. Another resource for recommendation is our Facebook user's group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/362160974275218). Lots of folks have made similar changes to their bikes and can give you their thoughts as well! Tony
