We older riders need a wider, more comfortable (for us) seat. Have 2 new Via's. What kind of connection would be needed on a replacement seat? Thanks.

Hello Deborah
Thank you for your post and question about saddles.
The number of saddle choices can be pretty overwhelming, but ultimately, a very personal choice. Think of shoes: If I have wide flat feet, perfect shoes for me would not be a good choice for someone that has narrow, high arched feet.
I'd like to start by saying that all ZiZZO Bikes use industry standard saddles with rails. You can find them at your local bike shop or online at places like Amazon.
With that being said, choosing a saddle can be a bit overwhelming.
Somethings to consider are saddle shape, width and padding.
Generally wider is better for comfort but at a cost of "performance".
A wider saddle is more supportive, "comfortable" with more padding, but heavier.
More "performance" saddles allow you to pedal and transfer energy into moving the bike, but (as you may know) are not as comfortable.
Depending on what your riding style, I would recommend visiting your local bike shop to "try" out the different saddle style and shapes to find which is perfect for you.
