I’ve had this Urbano for several years and it’s shifted flawlessly until my most recent ride. When shifting from 4 to 5 the chain rode up onto the chainring guard. Thinking that cleaning and re- lubing the chain may fix this?

Tony here. We spoke a while back about your bike's seatpost. Sorry to hear about the chain issue. Firstly, it is always a good idea to keep your chain clean and lubricated. However, in this instance, the cause may be a misaligned anti-chain drop device. On your Urbano, attached to the seat tube (frame), just above the top of the chairing should be a plastic grey "hook" looking part. Looking at the attached image, the part should be 1mm from the top of the chain and 1mm from the side of the chain. (NOTE: Green line added for reference.) Please let me know if this helps. Tony
