Which of the lightweight models (Liberte, Urbano or Via) is best suitable for dirt or light gravel paths, in addition to pavement? I see the Liberte has "puncture defence" tires but the tires are more narrow, right? I'm primarily camping... will have mixed trails, but not "off-road" or truly rough type situations.

Hello exp01020-fp
Thank you for your question. As Benjamin points out, the Urbano may be a good option for you. The Liberté is primarily a "road" bike: thinner, high pressure tires. Great for street, but may not provide the traction you may need for looser fire roads or gravel riding. The Urbano shares most of the great features of the Liberté (frame, gearing, etc) but the Urbano has wider tires which would accommodate more varied terrain, but at the cost of rolling efficiency.
If you have any other questions, please let us know!
I recommend you to look into the Urbano. one pound heavier then Liberte but the tire is wider with lower air pressure that can be more stable and has a little cushion for light trail riding. Liberte is more like a road bike.
